In Unbord, your subscription determines which features and how much of the available functionality are enabled for your account. Choosing a subscription depends on whether your primary goal is learning, creating and delivering education, or managing education in a school, organization, or educational center. A subscription is different from a role. A subscription relates to the features enabled for your account; a role determines what you can do and what data you can see in a learning path or class. For example, your account may have the ability to create content, while in a specific learning path you may only participate as a learner. Or, in a class, you may be responsible for creating content or tracking a group of people.
| If your primary goal is to… | More suitable subscription |
|---|---|
| Learn, chat with Nuro, and also create educational content alongside learning | Learner subscription |
| Build and deliver your own education and pursue it as a professional activity or small business | Creator subscription |
| Manage education for multiple instructors, classes, or groups in a school, organization, or educational center | Organization subscription |
The learner subscription is designed for people who want a more active and personalized learning experience. This subscription also gives you the content creation capabilities available in the creator subscription. Therefore, alongside learning, you can create content such as wikis, flashcards, and quizzes and use it to practice, review, or organize your learning. The key feature of the learner subscription is unlimited energy for learning. This means you can use learning methods with Nuro without being limited during the learning process.
Nuro is not only for creating content. With the learner subscription, you can chat with Nuro for learning and use different methods; for example:
These conversations are part of the learning experience; they are not simply a way to receive a ready-made answer.
The creator subscription is suitable for teachers, content creators, educational influencers, and small businesses that want to create and deliver their own education. With this subscription, you can create educational content for your topic or audience, bring it together in a learning path, and design a more organized experience for your audience. For example, a teacher can create a learning path for their class; an educational content creator can turn their knowledge into a wiki, flashcard, or quiz; and a small business can organize the education its audience or customers need. If your goal is not just to create a piece of content and you want to develop your education as a presentable experience, the creator subscription is a more suitable choice.
The organization subscription is designed for schools, organizations, and educational centers; places where education is not delivered by just one person and multiple instructors, classes, groups, or learning paths need to be managed together. This subscription is suitable when an organization wants to deliver education on a larger scale; for example, a school with multiple classes and instructors, an educational center that offers different courses, or an organization that manages employee training. In this model, the focus is not only on content creation. Collaboration between people, access management, running classes, tracking assignments, and using reports also become important.
Details about roles, classes, and reports will be explained in the articles related to those sections.
Energy is a unit used to access some Unbord features, especially AI-powered features. When you use Nuro to create content or for other interactions, your usage may be associated with your account's energy. With the learner subscription, energy for learning and learning chats is unlimited; therefore, you can work with Nuro for practice, conversation, and better understanding of a topic without worrying about learning energy limits. The energy required for content generation or other features may differ from learning energy. The exact details of each subscription are displayed on the subscription selection or management page.
A subscription does not replace your role. Even if your subscription enables content creation capabilities, you can only access a learning path, class, other people, or their reports when you have the appropriate role in that environment. Likewise, having a role in a learning path or class does not necessarily enable all account features; the features enabled for your account depend on your subscription.
In short:
| Subscription | Role |
|---|---|
| Determines the features and capacities enabled for your account | Determines your responsibilities and access scope in a learning path or class |
| Applies to the entire account | Can change from one learning path or class to another |
| Affects the features you can use | Affects the data you can see and the actions you can perform |
